Looking for Design Manager : PHE (Plumbing) & Fire Protection Systems

Experience 6 to 11 years strictly

Brief Job Description:

1. Review the detailed plans and specifications for plumbing and firefighting systems in commercial buildings. This includes water supply systems, drainage systems, firefighting systems.
2. Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate plumbing and firefighting systems seamlessly into building designs.
3. Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient practices into the design of plumbing and fire protection systems
4. Understand the design documents (DBR) and ensure in compliance with project objectives, standards, and specification.
5. Conduct hydraulic calculations, optimum pipe size calculations, and invert level calculations to optimize the efficiency and functionality of plumbing and fire protection systems.
6. Identify and specify appropriate plumbing and firefighting materials, equipment, and fixtures that meet project requirements and budget constraints.
7. Knowledge of plumbing and firefighting codes and standards, including NBC 2016, BIs Codes, UPCI, and local building codes.
8. Provide Technical support during the construction phase, respond to site queries, review shop drawings, and provide solutions.
9. Proficiency in relevant design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoints etc
10. Manage Statutory approvals as per Project/Codal requirement
11. Thorough knowldege of code requirements (National Building Code 2016, ECBC, IGBC, USGBC LEED, and other applicable codes and green building guidelines)
12. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other teams.
13. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
14. Project management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
15. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field
