Position Overview
We are seeking a Solar Designer & Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing the development of solar and energy storage systems. You will collaborate closely with our sales, permitting, and installation teams to ensure that system designs meet customer needs and comply with industry standards. Additionally, you will engage directly with customers to manage change orders and ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Design solar and energy storage systems that meet technical specifications, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
Work alongside the sales team to develop proposals and provide technical expertise during the sales process.
Manage customer interactions, discussing and implementing change orders while ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Prepare detailed designs to support project execution.
Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, and best practices to continually improve system designs.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues during project implementation.
Qualifications
Experience in solar system design and energy storage systems (ESS) is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of solar PV technology and system components is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
