We are seeking a Design Group Technologist to join our growing Design team in Carlsbad, CA. This position is responsible for managing design group technology systems, process improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate technical documentation across the group. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining the Group's BIM Execution Plan (BEP), IT asset tracking database, developing and maintain groupwide processes and procedures, and establishing a database that supports the commercial activities for all departments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* A bachelor's degree is the minimum formal education required for this position.
* Three (3) or more years in design and construction industry required.
* Experience with working in a design-build firm is highly preferred.
* Experience with BIM processes and standards is preferred.
* Experience with specification writing and technical documentation is a plus.
