Job Title: Engineering DesignerJob Description This role involves preparing product drawings and project bill of materials, maintaining equipment parts lists, ordering parts, scheduling deliveries, and reconciling invoices for parts as instructed by the Engineering Supervisor or designee. Responsibilities + Prepare engineering drawings of standard products using CAD software in both 2D and 3D, including AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit. + Assist in the product development process by preparing engineering sketches and drawings from prototype products or samples. + Create and manage bills of materials for projects and implement them into sketches. + Support and adhere to quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety requirements applicable to the position. Essential Skills + Proficient in design with CAM, SolidWorks, CAD software, Revit, and Inventor. + At least 3 years of design experience in SolidWorks/Inventor. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. + Knowledgeable in 2D/3D modeling, tooling, measuring, caliper tooling, drafting, design engineering, R&D, and reverse engineering. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Interest in advancing career long-term. + Capability to understand and support quality, environmental, and safety standards. Work Environment The position is based in an office environment with occasional trips to the shop floor for interaction with engineers, shop personnel, and sales staff. The role involves working 80% in a team capacity and 20% independently. All necessary personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hard hat, and steel toe boots, will be provided.
