Design Engineer – Land Development 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 2–6 years of experience in land development. This role focuses on site design and plan production, requiring strong technical proficiency and attention to quality. 

The position offers flexibility—it can be remote, hybrid, or in-person—but experience with Virginia land development regulations, processes, and standards is essential. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Consistently provide high quality and accurate work that meets project requirements, pertinent regulations, and both industry and Company standards.  
2. Deliver tasks on time by effectively managing individual workload and communicating proactively about scope, timeline, and resource needs. 
3. Intentionally collaborate by pursuing relevant input, sharing knowledge/insight with others, and contributing to the efforts of the team.  
4. Consistently follow, evaluate, and improve Company standards and procedures. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field. 
• 2–6 years of relevant land development design experience, preferred.  
• Proven experience with Virginia land development standards and permitting. 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other related design software.
