The Design Engineer, working with Sales and Application Engineering, will create documents and designs of complex manifold assemblies and components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares or directs preparation of products, detailed drawings and schematics.
Documents proper assembly and testing procedures when applicable.
Analyzes product specifications and performance requirements to determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing methods.
Provides technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations.
Analyzes and tests JEM manufactured products to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
Evaluates and implements existing product applications to new product designs.
Confers with company personnel to clarify or resolve design and document complications.
Is motivated to work well as an individual or in a team environment.
Prepares design modifications when needed.
Complies with all JEM policies and procedures, including ISO, OSHA, and AWAIR requirements.
Supports JEM’s vision and mission and exemplifies JEM’s core values daily.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Vo-tech or college degree in fluid power / hydraulics
Five to ten years direct experience with cartridge valves and hydraulic systems
Advanced knowledge of fluid power, hydraulic circuits and mobile equipment
Advanced skills with SolidWorks design software
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office
