We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team supporting the development fluid handling devices. This hands-on, cross-functional role focuses on product innovation, design validation, and manufacturability improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of prototype models and supporting calculations to validate new concepts and final designs.
• Approve and implement design changes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, production, and vendors to ensure the feasibility and quality of product designs.
• Modify and finalize engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks; perform calculations using MathCAD.
• Drive design-for-manufacturability improvements and help resolve shop-floor or supplier issues.
• Participate in site visits and customer interactions to support product specifications and issue resolution.
• Stay current on industry trends and technology to continuously improve design approaches.
• Prepare project time reports and other documentation as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in product design or development.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MathCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of ANSI Y14.5M-1994 geometric tolerance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in fluid handling devices (valves, pumps, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong initiative, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
