Job Title: PEB Design Engineer
Location: Hyderabad.
Job Summary:
The Design Engineer for PEB is responsible for developing structural designs and engineering plans for pre-engineered building systems. This position requires strong technical knowledge in structural design, analysis, and detailing, as well as proficiency in design software. The engineer will work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Structural Design and Analysis:
Design structural components of pre-engineered buildings, such as frames, purlins, girders, and connections.
Perform structural analysis for loads, including wind, seismic, and other relevant forces, in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Develop optimized designs to ensure structural integrity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Technical Drawings and Documentation:
Prepare detailed design and construction drawings, including 2D and 3D models, using CAD software.
Produce accurate bill of materials (BOM) and specifications.
Document design calculations, assumptions, and rationale for technical compliance.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and constraints.
Work closely with production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and align with production capabilities.
Participate in project meetings, site visits, and design reviews to discuss engineering solutions.
Software Proficiency:
Use structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, Tekla, SAP2000) to develop and validate design models.
Create detailed 3D modeling and rendering of PEB structures using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
Code Compliance:
Ensure all designs comply with local, national, and international building codes and standards, including AISC, IS, and others.
Stay updated on changes in industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Quality Assurance:
Perform quality checks and verifications on design output to minimize errors and ensure accuracy.
Review and approve shop drawings, erection drawings, and final designs before construction.
Innovation and Optimization:
Continuously improve design efficiency by adopting new tools, methods, and best practices for PEB.
Explore innovative structural solutions to optimize materials, cost, and energy efficiency.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
