Role

Responsible for making technical drawings using computer-aided/assisted design (CAD) software and systems with focus on Plastic Packaging.

Develop both structural and graphic design of packaging from concept to market for a wide variety of consumer products targeted for Direct Response and Mass Markets.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop new packaging drawings, supporting Project Managers/Customers.
• Analyze customer requests, interpret drawings, sketches, images, prototypes or other technical specifications in order to identify shapes, dimensions, tolerances or other details of the package.
• Model 3D Concepts in the context of product engineering taking into account the technical and commercial feasibility to obtain customer approval.
• Execute detailed drawings of the packaging or its components through systems-level computer-aided 3D Platforms and / or 2D drawings Platforms, taking into account the technical specifications, standards, tables and rules for drawing up a technical drawing.
• Execute prototypes to evaluate its functionality and make any necessary adjustments.
• Calculate Pallet Lay-out for a specific package to optimize transport.
