JOB TITLE: Design Engineer

LOCATION: Archbald, PA

PAY RATE: $45/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:

• Design major components or systems, or advanced prototypes/products.
• Develop and improve products to facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Create preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals.
• Investigate design factors like manufacturability, material availability, and cost.
• Coordinate with other teams impacted by design developments.
• Create layouts of assemblies and detailed parts of devices, mechanisms, and structures.
• Review completed layouts for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Identify design issues and recommend revisions or improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (preferred in Mechanical Engineering).
• 3+ years of Design Engineer experience.
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficient in 3D modeling, particularly with CREO version 9.
• CREO design and modeling experience.
• Experience with Windchill.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
