Position: Senior Design Engineer (Other equivalent designations: Detailing Engineer / Project Design Engineer / Drafting Engineer / Senior Design Executive)

CTC (Cost to company): INR 12 LPA - 15 LPA + Incentives

We seek a Senior Design Engineer with education qualifications in Mechanical or Civil engineering and excellent written & verbal communication skills to join our Design team. The position will support projects in the APAC region, predominantly in Australia and New Zealand and will be aligned to Australian time 9 AM - 5:30 PM / India time (5 AM - 1:30 PM)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (On-site).

Role Description: As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design of FRP structures by assisting in drafting, creating 3D models, preparing fabrication drawings, and coordinating with team members to ensure successful project execution. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in Steel/FRP detailing techniques and CAD software in a professional environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and specifications.
• Creating detailed fabrication drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and isometric views, is essential for fabricating and constructing steel / FRP structures.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure they align with design standards and project requirements.
• Work on verifying dimensions, tolerances, symbols, and annotations on drawings under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support the team in ensuring all connections between steel components are correctly designed and detailed, adhering to industry standards and codes.
• Participate in quality control processes by reviewing and checking drawings and models for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and other professionals to resolve design and detailing issues.
• Maintain proper documentation of all design changes, revisions, and communications related to drafting and detailing.
• Stay updated on CAD software's latest features and capabilities to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Learn and adhere to relevant industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of Advanced Steel, Autocad 3d, or Revit with proficiency in 2D and 3D drawings.
• A strong understanding of drafting techniques, principles, and standards is desirable.
• Interest in working with FRP composite products or similar materials.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
