Carmichael Development is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to our Design-Build team. The ideal candidate will meet the below qualifications and hold the following responsibilities while exemplifying integrity, humility and wisdom in their work.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Create project timelines and schedules
Create budgets for projects including pre-development costs & construction costs
Manage, estimate, and negotiate budgets with contractors
Conduct take offs and complete estimates
Resolve changes in scope, issues and risks that may affect project implementation and budget
Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards and risks per company's safety program and legal requirements
Communicate with internal team and clients, including scheduling weekly meetings with Superintendent and construction team
Coordinate with the project Superintendent to ensure projects are in budget, built to standards & specification, maintaining timeline and quality
Interface with contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Hire contractors and issue contracts
Review and approve invoices, issue PO’s, and subcontractor pay applications
Create and submit pay applications to the owner or bank
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction management or design-build services. (Minimum 5 Years)
