IEM is looking to hire a
Full Time- Deputy Program Manager to work with our Critical Infrastructure team in Puerto Rico.
Primary Location:
- Live within a commutable distance to San Juan Puerto Rico.
- Work in an Office Environment with a team.
Travel Requirements
- This position may require travel to complete work assignments or attend meetings.
Essential Functions
- Support the Program Manager in daily operation and all the roles and responsibilities listed for Program Management.
- Direct and coordinate all daily activities related to training, communications, scheduling, deliverables, staffing designation and evaluation, risk assessment and management.
- Contact and manage relations with officials for partner agencies and for subrecipients of potential subrecipients of the program.
- Act as the main point of contact with the program or its authorized representative.
- Oversee logistics management, ensuring that procedures are in place to align with the program’s goals and objectives.
- Direct human resources and management activities on the operational side of the programs and determine the staff needed to accomplish the operational tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: Three (3) years of experience in federally funded projects, supervision, procurement, and compliance.
- Five (5) years of experience in project management.
- Degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Five (5) years of experience in federally funded projects, supervision, procurement, and compliance.
- Six (6) years of experience in project management.
- Knowledge in emergency management and federal declarations.

- Office Locations: Often, these offices are either owned by the client we work with or by IEM. All candidates are expected to follow any rules and regulations of the office in which they are required to work for that project.
