Summary

DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Deputy Program Manager to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to join an elite team and enhance the performance and profitability of an organization whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. As a Deputy Program Manager, you will assist the Resonant Sciences’ Program Managers to ensure the company’s programs reach their goals and their customer’s intent. Working closely with the Program Manager, your job duties are to coordinate activities, provide communication to all company departments, interface with the customer, construct special projects as necessary, and act as the PM in their absence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in cross-functional teams on a diverse array of programs/projects while understanding customer requirements.
  • Uses proposal plans and strategies to assist the program manager in defining, developing, and implementing cohesive and integrated program/product schedules, business plans, subcontractor and material management to achieve overall current and long-term objectives.
  • Ensures work is accomplished to baseline plans to ensure rate of work completion is sufficient to meet program/product schedules.
  • Assist the program manager to balance program risks and opportunities with executable strategies to meet technical requirements and budgets.
  • Work with the program manager to conduct reviews on products/programs to anticipate and identify issues, develop corrective actions, and communicate issues, impacts and corrective actions to program teams.
  • Assist the program manager in maximizing profit and cash flow of products/programs.
  • Assist the program manager in identifying scope changes and developing product/program positions for equitable cost and schedule adjustment.
  • Assist the program manager in developing and executing strategies, proposal plans, cost analysis, resources management, and risk mitigation.
  • Develops customer relationships, identifies new opportunities, and develops new business within the market/program.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, plus a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree to meet managerial expectations.
  • Experience in a DoD-related contracting environment is desired but not required.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft desktop software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is required.
  • Skilled in the development and implementation of product/program strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • Ability to understand and analyze program financial data.
  • Ability to lead others in team building, conflict resolution, motivation, leadership, and risk management.
  • Ability to develop and execute proposal plans and strategies.
  • Ability to lead program in customer negotiations and negotiate win-win solutions.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: composites, radomes, antennas, and integrated electronics.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement a product-oriented WBS and WBS Dictionary preferred.
  • Knowledge of government contracting practices and regulations regarding acquisition is preferred.


CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:

  • U.S. Citizenship required. Be able to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Active clearance preferred.
  • This position may eventually require a TS/SCI Clearance.
