Job Description

The Data Analyst will analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and insights related to program effectiveness. This role involves creating compelling visualizations and reports, implementing data collection strategies, and ensuring data integrity. Collaboration with program teams and external stakeholders is essential to support monitoring and evaluation frameworks. The analyst will also stay updated on industry trends to enhance data processes continuously.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources related to the Green and Inclusive Entrepreneurship program.
    • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative analyses to extract meaningful insights.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards to track program metrics and progress.
  • Research and Insight Generation:
    • Conduct in-depth research on trends, policies, and best practices in green and inclusive entrepreneurship.
    • Identify key insights and opportunities to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Qualitative and Quantitative Reporting:
    • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and policy briefs that synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
    • Collaborate with the communications team to translate findings into engaging content for various stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including program partners, to gather data and insights.
    • Support workshops, meetings, and discussions by providing data-driven insights.
  • Program Evaluation:
    • Contribute to the design and implementation of program evaluation frameworks.
    • Measure and report on the social, economic, and environmental impact of the program.
Desired Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, research, or program evaluation, preferably in the context of social enterprises or development programs.
    • Experience in handling large datasets and using statistical software (e.g., R, Python, Stata).
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
    • Knowledge of green and inclusive entrepreneurship trends and challenges.
