**Description**
SAIC is seeking a **Deputy Configuration Manager** to support a major NAVAIR program office. The Configuration Manager will be responsible for performing various configuration and data management duties in support of select Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), specifically Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE) and Aerial Refueling Stores (ARS).
**This position is available as a 100% remote opportunity** , with some occasional travel requirements to support the mission.
**Job Duties:**
+ Collecting, organizing, reviewing, and interpreting technical data relating to aircraft armament equipment and refueling systems.
+ Tracking the status of open and historical configuration change actions.
+ Preparing and supporting data elements for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Variance (RFVs), Specification Change Notices (SCNs), Rapid Action Minor Engineering Changes (RAMECs), and Technical Directives (TDs).
+ Manage the routing of IPT configuration change efforts (ECPs, RFVs, SCNs, RAMECs, and TDs) using NAVAIR's Enterprise Change Management (ECM) workflow tool.
+ Record notes/meeting minutes from ECP, RFV, SCN, RAMEC, and TD kick-off meetings and Change Control Boards (CCBs) and assist with tracking, cataloging, and distributing information to support IPT Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs).
+ Perform other specific or collateral tasks and functions identified or assigned as CM related for the program office.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelors and 9 years of relevant experience; Masters degree and 7 years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
**Required Security Clearance:**
+ Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required) or higher.
**Required Skills:**
+ Demonstrated experience in the tracking and reporting of program/project status; researching compiling, and analyzing program technical data.
+ Experience with NAVAIR Configuration Management Policy and Process, with an understanding and familiarity with NAVINST 4130.1E, Microsoft Office Applications, and CCB Directive Forms.
+ Database management experience.
+ Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Good organizational skills
**Desired Skills:**
+ Familiarity with NAVAIR's Enterprise Change Management (ECM) workflow tool.
+ Familiarity with Technical Directive Requirements with a basic understanding of the NAVAIR Management and Procedures Manual for Technical Directives (NAVAIR 00-25-300).
+ Demonstrated experience in the tracking of contract deliverables with an understanding of DD Form 1423, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
