Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform daily tasks related to exception item processing to include, non-post items, stop payments, positive pay exceptions, chargebacks, and NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) items promptly.
  • Review, initiate and send wire transfers in strict accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
  • Handle daily account maintenance requests such as account closures, changes to ownership, interest rate changes etc. and ensure proper document retention.
  • Process account transactions including CD Interest checks, account transfers, fee refunds.
  • Balance daily settlement accounts and research and correct outages as needed.
  • Review mobile deposits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all work performed to facilitate audits and inquiries.
  • Review assigned deposit operations reports for accuracy and adherence to bank procedures
  • Assist with creating and revising department procedures
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of all regulatory requirements and bank policies and procedures
  • Assist in projects to implement additional products and services
  • Provide backup support to all other Deposit Operations employees, including the fraud specialist, as needed.
  • Provide support to all other bank departments.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of the Bank's customers' information.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education certificate (GED)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
