⚡️ Your role

Fastned is expanding its network of fast charging stations in Spain and is looking to strengthen the local construction team with a Project Manager to support us in bringing the construction projects to life.

In this role, you will be managing:

• The applications for grid connections,
• The ordering of materials and processing of invoices, management of budget and plannings,
• The coordination with internal and external stakeholders, especially within the context of permitting and authorisations. You are in close contact with the local team (such as architects, construction managers and network development managers), but also stakeholders within the international organisation.

This role will take you to visit business partners or sites, where you will be able to demonstrate negotiation skills, a hands-on mentality, high quality standards and an eye for details. You will also support the network development team in site evaluations and due diligence.

Electric mobility is new territory for you? No problem! As part of your onboarding, you will participate in a series of exciting workshops where you will learn everything important about electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure. You are a real team player and you have the ability to think on your own feet - you feel comfortable taking initiative and responsibility. You are not afraid to make mistakes and you are always keen to keep on learning. “Think like a founder” is something you identify easily with. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

• Degree in engineering, business or equivalent;
• Strong technical affinity;
• Ability to structure and prioritise your tasks efficiently;
• Strong communication skills;
• Willingness to travel within Spain and abroad;
• Fluency in Spanish and English;
• Driving license;
• A genuine interest in the energy transition and Fastned’s mission.

The recruitment process consists of 4 stages:

• Online interview with the Lead Construction New Markets;
• Assignment presentation and interview with the Lead Construction New Markets, and the Construction Manager;
• Final office visit to meet the rest of the team in person.
