• Is Preferred** About the Position: The Dental Treatment Coordinator/ Senior Clinical Care Coordinator will be the first point of contact and will represent Sonrisas Dental Health in a professional and compassionate manner. This role will work with other care coordinator team members and the center's clinical staff to facilitate a calm and efficient experience for patients. Candidates that are reliable and organized with excellent customer service skills are important to the success of this position. Responsibilities: Communicate with patients, and provide a professional, friendly patient interactions both in-person and over the phone Support a high-quality patient experience and contribute to overall practice goals Schedule patient appointments, manage new patient intake, triage patient concerns, and collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient schedule Coordinate treatment, discuss costs, and financial options with patients, and follow up on any unscheduled treatment
  
  

Verify insurance benefits, estimate co-pays, and process pre-authorizations and claims New patient intake

Collect and manage patient payments and accounts Coordinate with medical providers for clearances and referrals Oversee all correspondence via phone, email, messaging, and dental software (Open Dental) Requirements: 3+ years of Dental Front Office/Clinic experience, including dental billing, dental insurances, and treatment planning/presentation Bilingual/Spanish Preferred Dental Software Experience

Current computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office - and/or the willingness to learn Excellent communication skills, professional appearance and maturity Education/Licensure: HS Diploma or GED required Sonrisas Dental Health provides access to quality dental care, and oral health education to the community.
