Summary
Job Responsibility
Dental Assisting Duties
Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing tools as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Ensure all dental instruments, equipment, and the clinical environment are clean and properly sterilized
Provide patients with clear post-operative care instructions and support
Administrative Responsibilities
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and follow-ups
Respond to patient inquiries and deliver excellent customer service
Process billing and maintain accurate financial records
Monitor and manage dental inventory; order supplies when needed
Handle reception tasks such as answering calls and emails, checking in patients, and organizing files
Ensure all administrative tasks comply with clinic policies and health regulations
Supportive Roles
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the clinic
Support marketing efforts, including social media updates and promotional activities
Coordinate with dental suppliers, laboratories, and other external vendors as necessary
Job Requirements
Minimum qualification: SPM
Experience as a Dental Assistant or in an administrative role is an advantage
Proficient in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel)
Familiar with dental terminology and procedures
Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin is an added advantage)
Able to multitask, stay organized, responsible, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical billing and insurance claims is a plus
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Job Benefits
Salary: RM1,800 â RM2,800 (based on experience)
