Summary
The Demand Planning Manger will be responsible for working collaboratively with Sales, Procurement, Planning, Product Development and Finance departments to gather input and align demand with business goals. Responsible for setting up a Forecast Management process that aligns with internal stakeholder deadlines. Ensuring its management and performance supports end users’ needs for evaluations to optimize costs and make resource-based decisions. Identify risk and implement solutions to improve accuracy of forecasting through strategically reviewing historical sales, demand trends, and other statistical metrics.
Essential Functions

- Develop, implement and lead the forecast process in coordination with Sales to accurately project short-, medium- and long-term demand.
- Incorporate new product review, defined growth and item performance into planning cycles for organizational review through partnering with Sales & Product Development.
- Ensure weekly & monthly forecast updates and reports are completed timely for end users’ and present as part of S&OP process.
- Monitor performance of sales vs forecast trends for strategic adjustments based on Sales alignment while adhering to established rules for measuring KPI’s.
- Participate in various meetings and communicate risk, KPI’s, major forecast changes and sunrise/sunset items for awareness and action.
- Utilize, enhance and develop forecasting tools & software to streamline Forecast Management process.
- Participate in budget planning for forecasting aspects

- 3-5 years of combined experience in related fields
- Bachelor's Degree or relative years of experience
- Certifications in Supply Chain Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of functions and departments process
- Fundamental understanding of MRP/ERP systems
- Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
