Our client is seeking a Demand Planning Manager.


  • On-site position, once trained, can work one-day from home.


Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in supply planning or operations in a distribution-heavy setting, with deep knowledge of planning systems and ERP integrations.
  • Strong background in fast-paced industries such as retail, consumer electronics, or CPG.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.


Position Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and analytical leader to oversee our end-to-end planning strategy. This position is instrumental in driving forecasting accuracy, optimizing inventory flow, and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product availability and distribution.


Primary Duties:

  • Design and refine operational workflows to support evolving planning needs and serve as a key point of reference for process innovation.
  • Implement forward-looking strategies that minimize excess stock while maintaining high service standards across locations.
  • Elevate forecasting methods by identifying patterns, analyzing historical data, and making data-driven improvements to planning accuracy.
  • Monitor demand signals for key accounts and adjust forecasts to align with real-time trends and business priorities.
  • Guide and mentor planning staff, focusing on professional development and strategic execution.
  • Create and manage performance indicators to assess planning effectiveness and pinpoint optimization opportunities.
  • Lead system ownership efforts including upgrades, user training, and oversight of core planning metrics (e.g., lead times, buffer stock levels).
  • Balance inventory across distribution centers to maximize product availability and minimize logistics costs.
  • Manage cross-functional projects from conception to completion, ensuring stakeholder alignment and measurable outcomes.
  • Administer SKU-level planning across the supply chain, including proactive escalation of issues affecting stock availability.
  • Coordinate responses when demand exceeds capacity, facilitating collaborative solutions to supply constraints.
  • Maintain accurate product status data within ERP tools and deliver visibility into planning decisions to internal partners.
  • Plan for materials and supply needs across multiple locations, synchronizing supply with business objectives.
  • Partner with sales to identify trends, gaps, and business opportunities that support revenue and efficiency goals.
  • Support strategic initiatives with in-depth analysis and scenario modeling, providing practical recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with finance and fulfillment teams on inventory adjustments, reconciliation tasks, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to create scalable digital solutions that enhance supplier performance and internal processes.
