Position Summary:

The Demand Generation Manager plays a crucial role in driving and executing demand generation strategies and programs to generate qualified leads and support revenue growth. They develop and implement multi-channel campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive acquisition, and nurture leads throughout the sales funnel. The Manager possesses a strong understanding of lead generation tactics, including experience with paid media activation, and has a data-driven mindset to optimize campaign performance and deliver measurable results.

Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Develop and execute demand-generation strategies to drive qualified leads and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, sales, channel, and product, to develop integrated campaigns that align with business objectives.
  • Create and manage multi-channel paid media campaigns, overseeing the strategy and execution, across all digital channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Display/Native, Google, and ABM.
  • Collaborate with senior management to understand and build upon business insights that will help drive vision and strategy to meet marketing OKRs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in demand generation, and proactively apply relevant strategies to enhance campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Generation Specialist (CGS) and Channel Account Manager (CAM) sales teams to ensure effective lead handoff and alignment on lead delivery and qualification criteria.
  • Work with Integrated Campaign Analysts and Marketing Performance Manager to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign ROI to stakeholders, providing regular updates on campaign progress and recommendations for improvement.
  • Actively participating in campaign kick-offs and pod meetings – contributing to recommendations on the campaign go-to-market strategy (audience parameters; tactics; time in market) based on platform management. Lead the strategy for the digital ABM market plan targeting our top partners.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the Demand Gen team, while acting as the point of escalation as needed, while making timely decisions to keep work moving forward and on strategy.
  • Collaborating with Tools & Technology for the campaigns / sales plays tracking properly across their managed platform to SFDC; Outreach; Marketo as applicable.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least four (4) to six (6) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience working on integrated, digital marketing programs.
  • Experience with Account Based Marketing (ABM) and varying social paid media platforms (Facebook/Instagram and LinkedIn); digital marketing services (Rollworks or similar Company) and managing 3rd party vendors.
  • Global marketing experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Google Data Studio or other data visualization tools such as Dataroma or PowerBI.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting abilities with the ability to collect meaningful data via social platforms and Google Analytics and use it to develop strategic insights.
  • Understanding of B2B sales cycles and experience working closely with sales teams.
  • Understanding of the advertising landscape and how it’s quickly evolved in the last few years.
  • Passionate about technology, digital marketing, Internet culture, memes, and social media; stays current on cultural trends and what’s currently relevant online.
  • Advanced knowledge of audience segmentation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Has an entrepreneurial attitude and thrives in a rapidly changing start-up environment.
  • Ability to take on multiple responsibilities and be adept at organizing and leading around ambitious goals.
  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to efficiently solve complex problems.
