Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in software testing and validation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking, Windows systems, manual and automation testing, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

This role requires expertise in test planning, execution, and defect analysis, ensuring high-quality software solutions. The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to test strategy development, automation implementation, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

 Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and system testing.

 Develop and execute test cases, including acceptance criteria, to validate software functionality and performance.

 Conduct manual and automation testing, identifying and documenting defects while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

 Participate in client interactions, providing technical insights and progress updates.

 Assist in resource estimation, test environment setup, and process optimization.

 Ensure adherence to best practices in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.

 Reproduce, prioritize, and escalate defects based on severity and business impact.

 Work with developers to verify defect fixes and conduct re-testing.

Technical Skills

 Strong understanding of Networking and Windows system concepts.

 Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.

 Good to have familiarity with test scripting and automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Python, or equivalent).

 Experience in writing and executing test cases, acceptance criteria, and defect tracking.

 Knowledge of test metrics collection and analysis to improve testing efficiency.

 Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies is an advantage.

Certifications Needed
