Delivery Driver Role

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivery of product directly to customers. Success in this position is quantified by accuracy and timeliness of delivery from the store to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and loading trucks with items for delivery
• Following the route of delivery to customer
• Delivering customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Receive any incoming product into the store and putting up the stock
• Preparing items for shipment
• Pulling orders as they come in and preparing items for shipment
• Making inner store product transfers along with outside customer job site deliveries
  
  
  

Requirements

• Non-hirable chauffer’s license (CDL not required)
• Ability to operate pallet jack
• Clean driving record
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently
• Able to handle multiple tasks at once

Physical Demands

This role primarily works in a delivery vehicle with spent in a warehouse environment. Standard demands of operating a motor vehicle are expected. This role may be required to lift up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. While in a warehouse setting, the employee may be exposed to the outdoor weather temperature and loud noise.
