Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for datacenter and IT infrastructure that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to perform their duties effectively.
Datacenter Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of the datacenter, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
IT Infrastructure Management: Manage the overall IT infrastructure including servers having multi-flavoured OS – Linux, Solaris, Windows and AIX, storage, network, Active Directory, VMWare, Nutanix, Databases, backup technologies, and cloud services to ensure high availability and performance.
Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage the budget for datacenter and IT infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Service Operations: Knowledge of ITIL processes, should be able to drive and deliver committed SLA’s. Have good knowledge of account P&L and finances
Security and Compliance: Ensure all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of quality services.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring tools and processes to track the performance and health of the infrastructure.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency, security, and performance of the datacenter and IT infrastructure.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of IT professionals.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in managing large-scale IT projects.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Exposure to BFSI domain and managing large DC environment would be an added advantage
