Summary

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Database Marketing Coordinator is responsible for building and deploying database marketing campaigns and offers to drive guest retention and loyalty through various 1:1 communication channels, primarily email. They will support and execute direct marketing programs and tactics to build profitable, long-term customer relationships while delivering hyper-personalized customer experiences. This is a highly cross-functional role, they will be a key team player behind database marketing campaign operations to help deliver a best-in-class database marketing and loyalty customer contact strategy that delivers the right message to the right customer at the right time.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Build and set up multi-channel (email, direct mail, push, etc.) recurring and ad-hoc database marketing campaigns in our campaign management and delivery tools.
  • Create, configure, and QA personalized loyalty and database offers across multiple systems and platforms to enable smooth and accurate multi-channel redemptions.
  • Organize, assemble, and load assets and deliverables of campaigns and offers.
  • Route campaign and offer management activities through necessary stakeholders and approvers.
  • Proof and review campaigns (e.g., copies, landing pages, legal T&C’s, etc.) for quality assurance and accuracy prior to deployment.
  • Work closely together with the loyalty data team to deploy campaigns and optimize campaign performance.
  • Maintain and send customer contact & deployment calendars to partners/stakeholders.
  • Maintain and send campaign/offer fact sheets to resort operations teams.
  • Coordinate and document workflow and cross-team activities with internal and external partners (marketing/creative, revenue management, legal, call center, casino ops, resort ops, etc.) to meet interdependent timelines.
  • Communicate and escalate risks, issues, and roadblocks to timelines and deliverables of campaigns and offers.
  • Recommend messaging, campaign, and process optimization ideas to shorten lead time for marketing operations and time-to-market.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, and/or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Prior experience in hospitality and luxury resort strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in a CRM, database marketing, or loyalty marketing role preferred.
  • Have an ability to quickly gain proficient usage of a database marketing/cross-channel marketing tech stack that involves multiple systems, databases, and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
  • Data-driven and analytical with experience in Excel.
  • A self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills with a commitment to completing projects on time.
  • Have an ability to anticipate, multi-task, and prioritize workload with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and quickly evolving environment.
  • Excellent verbal, social, and written communication skills with the ability to bring creative ideas to the organization.
  • Comfortable to work across teams and seek alignment to help maintain a best-in-class marketing/CRM operations framework.
  • Passionate about scalable and future-proof processes, systems, and analytics.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
