Mid Database Developer Job Description: Designs and builds a stable, reliable and effective database system Optimize and maintain legacy database systems Collaborates with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning Modify databases according to requests and perform tests Handles SQL and Database Performance Tuning Ensures that all the database programs meets the application performance requirements Provides guidance and support to Application Developers in improving the applications and establishing best practices. Provides solutions for any bugs in the applications Coordinates and assists internal stakeholders when dealing with issue investigations, work items, incident reports Provide data management support to users Actively collaborates with other team members in building new solution and enhancing existing system Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or any related field 3+ years experience as a Database developer Strong knowledge and experience in T-SQL, SQL, SQL and Database Performance Tuning In-depth understanding of data management concepts (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring) Able to create and understand Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD).
