Description

We are seeking a Database Developer to join our team located in Chantilly, Virginia, United States. In this role, you will design and maintain database objects, optimize performance, and support data workflows, ensuring efficient and secure database operations. You will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions tailored to organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain SQL Server database objects, including stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query refinement, and statistics updates.
• Work closely with developers and analysts to gather requirements and implement database solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and inefficiencies.
• Support and enhance ETL processes to manage data workflows effectively.
• Ensure the security and reliability of database systems through regular monitoring and updates.
• Plan and contribute to database architecture for new applications or system enhancements.
• Assist in data modeling and optimization for business intelligence tools like Power BI.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining database objects and systems.
• Expertise in working with DB2 databases and other database management systems.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems and their integration with databases.
• Ability to perform data analysis and generate actionable insights.
• Experience with backup technologies to ensure data integrity and recovery.
• Familiarity with AB testing methodologies and their application in database environments.
• Advanced skills in creating dashboards and visualizing data for business intelligence purposes.
• Proficient in Microsoft tools and technologies for database development and management.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence (BI) concepts and tools.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design efficient data solutions.
