About the Role

Looking for a highly experienced Malaysian IT professional with a robust background in SQL, programming, and deep expertise in Loan Origination Systems (LOS)—ideally within the corporate or business loan space. This role requires a candidate who can take ownership of technical enhancements, system configuration, and reporting, while supporting ongoing business and process improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies

• SQL Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in writing and optimizing queries for data manipulation and reporting.
• Programming Knowledge: Ability to handle backend/frontend scripting or configuration tasks related to LOS platforms.
• Loan Origination Systems (LOS): Deep experience in form/template creation, loan process flows, and business rule configurations.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Skilled in generating operational reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, or native LOS reporting modules.
• UI Development: Experience in creating or customizing user interfaces within LOS or integrated platforms.
• Process Improvement & System Enhancements: Proven track record in enhancing system workflows and loan product configurations to align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain loan-related forms and templates within the LOS platform.
• Configure and manage loan offer templates, including automated documentation like letters or contracts.
• Modify or enhance data structures, business rules, prompts, and contextual help within the LOS.
• Develop internal dashboards and reports for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business teams to support enhancements, perform UAT, deliver training, and manage system rollouts.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 8 years in IT roles, preferably in banking or financial systems, with hands-on LOS exposure.
• Attributes: Strategic thinker, capable of independent delivery, strong communicator with stakeholder engagement skills.
