Position Title: Database Analyst

Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Database Analyst to join our team-. The primary responsibility of the role is to conduct in-depth secondary research to gather and maintain the database. The ideal candidate will combine strong research capabilities with advanced database management skills, ensuring that data is effectively curated and updated from time to time.

1.      Conduct Secondary Research:

·      Perform thorough desktop research to identify the key individuals and decision makers across various sectors (e.g., wealth management, investment, and other related industries).

·      Utilize online databases, public resources, industry reports, and other reliable sources to gather data.

2.      Maintain and Update Database:

·      Create, manage, and maintain an organized database of contacts, ensuring that information is up to date, accurate, and well-structured.

·      Ensure completeness of the data by gathering key information such as names, titles, company affiliations, contact details (email, phone, address), and social profiles (LinkedIn, etc.).

3.      Data Verification:

·      Cross-check and validate the gathered data to ensure accuracy and relevance.

·      Regularly review and update the database to ensure its integrity over time.

4.      Reporting and Documentation:

·      Report progress regularly on the status of research tasks and database updates.

·      Document sources and methodologies for data collection to maintain transparency.

5.      Collaboration and Communication:

·      Collaborate with team members to understand the specific research needs and adapt search criteria as necessary.

·      Provide insights into new trends or notable contacts identified during research activities.

6.      Ensure Data Compliance:

·      Adhere to privacy and data protection guidelines while collecting and storing information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree. 
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data research, data analysis, or database management, preferably within the investment banking or financial services industry.
• Experience with CRM or database management systems.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn and other professional networks for data mining.
• Soft Skills:
• Proven experience in research roles, particularly secondary/desktop research
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage large datasets and ensure information is up-to-date.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Ms Office suite
