Responsibilities: Administer and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance, while providing support for backups, restores, and user access. Install, configure,databases on Windows and Linux, ensuring smooth migration of versions 11g and 12c with improved security and performance through Oracle patches. Maintain the database structures version-wise and standardize the same. Perform database refresh and restore tasks using tools like import/export, data pump, and RMAN utilities. Develop, document, and continuously revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards to maintain an up-to-date and well-documented system environment. Work with system and storage administrators to gather and understand performance statistics and to tune the database server accordingly.
