A Day in the Life:

• Maintain & Secure Databases: Administer, maintain, and develop policies to ensure the security and integrity of multiple databases, supporting mission-critical operations.
• Optimize Performance: Direct the monitoring and administration of database systems, optimizing performance and redesigning structures to improve data storage and retrieval.
• Disaster Recovery & Resilience: Manage disaster recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability in the event of system failures.
• Coordinate & Collaborate: Work closely with Database Engineers (DBEs) to coordinate database architecture changes and optimize system performance.
• Implement Best Practices: Direct the installation of database management systems, databases, tables, and views, utilizing current and emerging tools and strategies to drive innovation.
  
  
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• Expertise in evaluating and recommending database management system (DBMS) products, ensuring compliance with business requirements.
• Proven experience in Oracle, SQL Server, and/or SYBASE Database and Application server administration.
• Ability to perform database and software life-cycle activities to maximize system performance and availability.
• Strong skills in organizing and formatting data for efficient query and storage processes.
  
  
  

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of experience in DBA-related work in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. An additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $165,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)

We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range. Therefore, we remain open to considering higher salary offers for exceptionally qualified candidates.
