For the support and further development of database solutions, we are looking for an experienced

Database Administrator Oracle (m/f/d)

for exciting projects at our customers - partly on-site, partly remote.

Your tasks - varied and exciting

• Responsibility for the operation of Oracle databases in highly available environments.
• Definition and optimization of database models to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability
• Fine-tuning and performance optimization of database queries for maximum speed and availability.
• Integration of new database solutions and migration of existing systems to modern infrastructures.
• Implementation of incident, problem and change management to ensure a stable and high-performance database environment
  
  

Your profile - what you bring with you

• Many years of experience in operating large Oracle databases and highly available clusters (e.g. Oracle RAC)
• Profound knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL, ideally also experience in other database technologies such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience in working with Oracle Cloud technologies to efficiently implement and operate cloud-based database solutions
• Good knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python, or Shell) to automate processes and make database management more efficient.
• Certifications such as OCP are an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Very good German language skills and communication skills to work effectively in a team and with customers.

• Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c) - Management and optimization of large, highly available database environments.
• Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) - Ensuring availability and scalability through cluster technologies.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Provision and management of database solutions in the cloud.
• PostgreSQL, MySQL - experience in other relational database technologies to enhance capabilities.
• PL/SQL, SQL - Optimizing and programming database queries for high performance.
• Bash, Python, shell scripting - automation of database processes and system management.
• Ansible - Deployment and configuration management for the automation of infrastructure tasks.
• Jira, Confluence - documentation and project management for a structured way of working.
• Git/GitLab - version control and collaboration on database and infrastructure projects.
