Summary

The Database Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring data management systems to ensure quality and security. This DBA will work with software teams to write SQL, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide consultation for our client.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain database objects (tables, indexes, views, procedures).
• Monitor performance and resolve database issues
• Process change requests and manage vendor support tickets.
• Collaborate with the Security Team on policy enforcement.
• Support ETL processes (mapping, workflow, connectivity).
• Reduce manual data work and improve productivity.
• Coordinate with IT for software/hardware upgrades.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years relevant experience (or equivalent combination).
• Proficiency with Oracle Database and/or Snowflake.
• Experience with database design, configuration, and management.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security.
• Solid understanding of Oracle, Snowflake, and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
  
  

This is a 6-Month Contract-for-Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
