You will be part of: Small agile team primarily based in Czech Republic which take care of internal and external databases. With us you will be responsible for: Most frequently: Performance analyses (includes writing or adapting (T/) SQL, CMD, PowerShell or similar scripts to use for that purpose) Space management, DB reorganization Generic database administration & troubleshooting Performance tuning MSSQL security Occasionally: Installation of MSSQL database MSSQL patch installation / version upgrades Implement Backups Restore/Recovery Generic MSSQL database consulting We expect you to have: At least 3 years of professional experience with MSSQL databases administration Knowledge of MSSQL 2016 SP2 and newer Windows Administration Good communication skills in English – written and spoken Advantage: Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Services (Azure DevOps) and GIT Agile development workflow Knowledge also of MariaDB is a huge advantage At least some basic understanding of virtualization (Hyper-V) and network topics (VPN, Firewalls, LAN/WAN) Our daily work: We work in SCRUM based environment As a person you are: Analytical and logical thinking able to drive continuous improvements Proactive, coming up with new ideas Eager to learn new technologies We offer The contract is for an indefinite period of time.
