Database Administrator | 4 months | Dublin (Hybrid) | €510–€560/day

Our client, a global consultancy firm, is hiring a Database Administrator. This is a 4-month contract to support a dynamic software engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact Oracle environment, focusing on performance optimisation and system enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimise Oracle database performance through tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks for system efficiency.
• Develop custom features to improve existing database systems.
• Produce regular reports on database health and performance.
• Document configurations and processes to support best practices.

About You

• 5+ years’ experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Proficient in Oracle 12c/19c, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and PL/SQL.
• Skilled in performance tuning and SQL optimisation.
• Strong Linux OS knowledge and hands-on with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable:

Experience with Oracle ASM, Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), and Agile/Scrum environments.]
