AGILA IT is responsible for the development, enhancement and operation of all systems and core applications at AGILA.

Versatile - your future tasks

• You will be responsible for the administration, maintenance and optimization of our existing Oracle DB and ensure its stability, security and performance
• You work closely with our external IT outsourcing service providers, who are responsible for general system operation and monitoring, and monitor service quality in the area of database services
• You are actively involved in the design and implementation of migration or modernization projects
• You support the development teams with database-related requirements and work on the continuous improvement of database processes and structures
• You document all key activities and processes
• You stay on the ball technologically by familiarizing yourself with new database or cloud technologies (e.g. Azure SQL, PostgreSQL) as required
• You develop PL/SQL programs and optimize existing scripts
  
  

Convincing - your knowledge & experience

• You have a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification and several years of experience in the administration of Oracle databases
• You have very good knowledge of Oracle database architecture, PL/SQL programming as well as performance optimization and troubleshooting of complex database environments
• Ideally, you have initial experience or a strong interest in modern cloud database solutions (e.g. Azure SQL Database, PostgreSQL)
• You work in a structured, analytical and proactive manner and have a high degree of initiative and quality awareness
• You are a strong communicator, team-oriented and enjoy working both independently and in interdisciplinary projects
• Fluent written and spoken German and English round off your profile
