Main Duties
Database Administration and Optimization
Management of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
Monitoring and optimization of database performance.
Implementation of indexing, partitioning, and replication strategies.
Data Modeling and Architecture
Data Lake and Data Warehouse Management (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
Storage strategies in on-premise and cloud environments.
Data Processing and Orchestration
Implementation of data pipelines with tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, and Apache NiFi (Recommended).
Optimization of ETL/ELT processes.
Working with real-time processing tools such as Apache Kafka and Spark Streaming.
Data Security and Governance
Ensuring data integrity and security through access policies.
Implementation of encryption and access control (RBAC, IAM).
Compliance with regulations such as GDPR and SOC 2 (Recommended).
Cloud and Big Data Infrastructure Management
Cloud database management (Azure SQL).
Implementation of solutions on Big Data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, and Databricks.
Management of Kubernetes and containers (Docker).
Data Science and Machine Learning Support
Collaboration with data scientists to structure datasets.
Implementation of databases for AI and Machine Learning (MLflow, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Management of databases optimized for predictive analytics and data mining.
Requirements
Educational Level: Systems Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
Experience: 4 years of experience in database administration.
Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, ETL, and Big Data platforms.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure).
Skills in Python, R, or Scala.
Knowledge of database monitoring and tuning tools.
We Offer
Salary: From $10,000,000 based on experience + all benefits.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Contract: Permanent, job security.
