Are you an experienced Oracle DBA with a passion for managing robust, secure, and high-performing database environments?

We are currently looking for an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support critical systems for a prestigious client operating within a complex and high-availability environment.

As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing production database systems. You will leverage your expertise in Oracle Cloud and Oracle Exadata, as well as your scripting and automation capabilities using tools like Bash, Python, and Ansible. Your role will include managing backup and recovery processes, tuning performance, and ensuring system availability across hybrid cloud/on-prem deployments. You’ll also play a vital role in upholding database security and compliance with best practices.

Qualifications

Who you are:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in production environments
• Proficient in managing Oracle Cloud and Oracle Exadata systems
• Skilled in scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python, and Ansible
• Strong knowledge of backup/recovery strategies, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability
• Experienced with hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure deployments
• Solid understanding of database security practices and regulatory compliance
• Possession of certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or relevant industry-recognized credentials
• Self-motivated, analytical, and solutions-oriented
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English
