Summary

JOB PURPOSE

Handles the activities for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the data warehouse and related data marts that will provide the business with an accurate, timely and organized view of the enterprise data.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design & Evaluate

  • Analyzes, evaluates, recommends, plans and implements EDW database solutions & data models that will meet the business users' requirements.
  • Assists in the design of a detailed data architecture that includes data governance, master data strategy, master data management, data quality, data modeling, ETL approach and data storage for EDW.
  • Coordinates with enterprise architects and SMEs to design, build and deliver data model innovations in support of emerging business needs.


Team Lead

  • Coordinates with project teams consisting of management, users and development team to achieve EDW targets.
  • Identifies, recommends, implements and continually improves processes for delivering data warehouse solutions.


Project Management

  • Works with business to formulate and define their project scope and objectives based on customer needs and identify feasible and cost-effective solutions to implement.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to build and support their data needs and provide thought leadership.
  • Manages the status of the overall program and effectively communicate and manage all opportunities and risks.
  • Serves as liaison between Pioneer Business and Digital Transformation team.


Implementing New Solutions

  • Assists in overseeing the integrity of data from legacy systems to EDW.
  • Research new technologies, data modeling methods and information management systems to determine which ones should be incorporated into EDW data architectures and develop implementation timelines and milestones.
  • Analyzes and recommend changes in EDW to increase productivity level of data warehouse in working environment.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • With experience in designing, developing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, and triggers.
  • Optimize database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
  • Know how to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PL/SQL code.
  • Can analyze requirements and design technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • With experience in maintaining data security and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Specializes in designing, building, and managing the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
  • Must have 1 - 2 yrs experience using MS SQL server.
