Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data-Warehouse & Reporting Developer to support enterprise data initiatives. The consultant will be integrated into the internal development team and will collaborate closely with a major clients IT team. The position requires strong expertise in data warehouse architecture, reporting, and software development, with a focus on performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW)
• Build and support software applications (web or standalone) and report catalogs related to the data warehouse
• Design and implement ETL processes for efficient data flow and transformation
• Assist with deployment and configuration of systems in production environments
• Perform database performance tuning and analysis
• Develop and execute test programs to validate system integrity and functionality
• Produce and maintain technical documentation
  
  
  

Requirements

• University degree in IT or Computer Science
• Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience in IT
• Proven experience in data warehouse production environments with business continuity responsibilities
• At least 3 years of hands-on expertise in the following areas:
• Oracle RDBMS
• SQL development
• Unix/Linux environments
• Programming with Java, Perl, or Python
• Proficient with version control tools like Git
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETLT tools
• Skilled in data processing, analytics, and reporting, particularly with BIRT
• Good command of front-end technologies such as HTML/XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
