Who We’re Looking For:

This position is responsible for supporting the development of federal reports, ad-hoc queries, ETL processes, and business intelligence solutions in the Child Welfare domain using tools such as NYTD, AFCARS, and NCANDS. The role will contribute to projects aimed at enhancing decision-making and improving data access, ultimately supporting the safety and well-being of children and youth in public systems and fostering stable, nurturing family environments.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with staff and system developers to ensure the operational system database meets data extraction and reporting needs.

Design, develop, and implement the Child Welfare Data Warehouse model to support reporting and analytical requirements.

Adapt data warehouse structures to align with updates from the operational SACWIS/CCWIS system, ensuring seamless integration.

Support and mentor team members to ensure the sustainability of the data warehouse infrastructure and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Develop and enhance business intelligence applications, dashboards, visualizations, and data delivery tools leveraging the data warehouse platform.

Implement and manage robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to ensure accurate, timely data consolidation and integration.

Collaborate with federal reporting team members and business users to improve data queries and ensure they meet reporting and analytical needs.

Provide training and guidance to internal developers and end users on Teradata and business intelligence tools to maximize the effectiveness of data solutions.

Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and develop effective data-driven solutions.

Technical Environment:

Teradata Cloud (Version 17.20)

Business Objects XI 4.2 SP4 on a Windows 2012 virtual platform

Shared platform utilized by other departments

Qualifications:

Proven experience with Teradata, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

Familiarity with Business Objects XI 4.2 or similar business intelligence tools.

Strong understanding of child welfare data systems such as NYTD, AFCARS, and NCANDS is preferred.

Experience with SQL, data modeling, and designing scalable data solutions.

Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills.

Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business requirements.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex requirements into data-driven solutions.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or related fields.

Experience working within government or public sector environments is a plus.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $75 and $90. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
