Data Technical Project Manager/Data Technical Lead

We are actively recruiting for a Functional Specialist / Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, from concept through final implementation. The successful candidate will support They will lead the creation of dashboards, data visualizations, and performance metrics utilizing various software tools, with a focus on enhancing support and reporting mechanisms. Our client requires proficient data analytics and management support to elevate and maintain their dashboard initiatives and integrate efficient data practices. The candidate should have experience leading data-driven decision making with a team about how to visualize data that is best matched to the twin challenges of exploratory data analysis and analytic presentation. The candidate should have developed domain expertise of data science, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
The Functional Specialist / Project Manager will collaborate closely with the harness data-driven insights that augment decision-making processes and strategic implementations aligning with the operational demands.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of performance metrics dashboards utilizing Tableau, R Studio, Python, and MS Excel.
Collaborate proactively with clients and stakeholders to understand their objectives, architectural needs, and security priorities.
Design and propose tools that resonate with client goals, ensuring scalability and adaptability for future requirements.
Oversee ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure the seamless flow of data, maintaining its quality and integrity at all stages.
Engage with the client to effectively harness data-driven insights for enhancing decision-making processes and strategic implementations.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies to propose innovative solutions catering to the evolving challenges.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in project management, from concept through final implementation.
Demonstrable experience in streamlining and enhancing government processes, procedures, and support tools and analytics.
Technical proficiency in software and IT systems, including but not limited to Tableau, IBM TRIRIGA, MS products, R Studio, and SQL Server.
Solid experience in data integration and working with diverse data systems.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business process teams to achieve desired program outcomes and deliverables.
Experience with developing scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats, supporting project teams to scale, and monitoring and operating data platforms.
Experience with Tableau's JavaScript API.
Experienced in presentation design and data visualization best practices.
Experience in dashboard and report development with the Tableau BI platform.
Experience with data preparation to include de-normalizing data for reporting.
Experience publishing reports and data sources to a server.
Preference towards Certified Tableau Data Analyst.
