Position Overview

Join our team as a Data Systems Specialist responsible for managing electronic data interchange (EDI) between insurance carriers and our applications. You'll support our EDI intake and HOIVerify teams by implementing system enhancements and optimizing carrier data flows to drive efficiency, compliance, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement change requests that impact our mapping systems, customers, lenders, and insurance carriers
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify bugs and system gaps, then recommend and implement improvements
• Create essential documentation including user guides and system configuration materials
• Monitor data volumes and research significant changes
• Manage data improvement projects and implement solutions for complex data issues
• Collaborate directly with carriers and aggregators to resolve data challenges

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with SQL and data queries
• 2+ years as a business analyst or in the insurance industry
• Experience with agile product development
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
• Strong analytical skills to process complex data from multiple sources
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
• Adaptability to changing business priorities

• Knowledge of insurance tracking and mortgage loan servicing
• Ability to connect detailed work to big-picture objectives
• Experience breaking down complex processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools for process mapping and data analysis
