Datastage Developer

• Datastage (Level: Advanced - strong fundamental knowledge and implementation experience)
• SQL (Level: Advanced - strong fundamental knowledge and implementation experience)
• UNIX commands and shell scripting (Level: Advanced - strong fundamental knowledge and implementation experience)
• Data Modeling & DWH concepts (Level: Advanced - clear understanding od fundamental concepts and working/ implementation experience with a few industry models [preferred-key version model])
• CICD Deployment pipeline (Level: Medium - Should have worked on CICD deployment pipeline)
• Generic solutioning and automation framework - (Level: Advanced - Should be able to initiate improvement ideas and lead and drive implementation of solutions with complete ownership)
• Unstructured data (XML/JSON) parsing and composing (Level: Advanced - strong fundamental knowledge and implementation experience)
• HDFS and HIVE data extraction (Level: Medium - Should have worked on Hadoop sources and be able to troubleshoot errors. Also suggest and implement improvements)
• Kafka integration (Level: Medium - Should have worked on Kafka integration and be able to troubleshoot errors. Also suggest and implement improvements)
• Communication and Attitude (Level: Advanced - should be able to raise concerns, challenge solutions, actively participate in discussions, proactive, enthusiastic, motivated and should be able to take ownership and drive topics)
• Design decision Impact assessment - relational thinking of impact and should be able to foresee challenges of the decisions made
