THE ROLE

As a Data Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company’s data infrastructure by leading the solution. You will collaborate with various teams across digital functions, helping to implement cutting-edge data solutions while ensuring alignment with governance and security policies.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Leading the architecture and design of data models, with a focus on the implementation of Lakehouse using Azure and Fabric.
• Partnering with the Data Governance and Management teams to ensure alignment with data policies and practices.
• Providing expertise in database design principles, particularly in the context of Medallion architecture.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Data Solutions Architect will have the following skills and experience:

• Solid experience with Azure, Fabric, and Lakehouse architecture, with a focus on Medallion architecture.
• Strong background in data modeling and system design, ideally in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance and security policies, with the ability to align technical solutions accordingly.

• Salary between £80,000 and £100,000 – depending on experience
