RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in San Francisco, CA that is seeking a talented Mid-Level Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our data-driven decision-making processes, particularly within the retail sector.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in data science or a related role
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scala
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Strong understanding of statistical models and machine learning techniques
• Strong exploratory data analysis (EDA) capabilities with a knack for storytelling through data
• The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively
• Experience in the retail sector is highly desirable
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
