We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to manage and optimize our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistics, proficiency in Python, and experience in data visualization and database management. You will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data (ELT pipelines), ensuring the integrity and availability of the data, and providing actionable insights through advanced analytics and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up ETL/ELT Pipelines for data from various internal and third-party sources.
• Implement and manage efficient data storage solutions using modern data formats.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques to clean, process, and structure data.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas within our data lake.
• Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to support business objectives.
• Visualize complex datasets and create intuitive dashboards and reports.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop predictive models and conduct experiments to test hypotheses.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Strong foundational understanding of statistics and statistical methods.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Superset, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Advanced SQL Skills.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools for data extraction and transformation.
• Knowledge of modern data storage solutions and formats.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DuckDB / Airbyte /dbt.
• Understanding of data lake architecture and management.
• Hands-on experience with cloud storage solutions like Amazon S3
