Imperial Dade, a leading national distributor, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Jersey City, NJ. In this pivotal role, you will work alongside peer data scientists to develop, enhance, and maintain critical pricing models, leveraging advanced data engineering and machine learning techniques to drive high-impact business decisions.

Salary: $110,000 - $135,000

Responsibilities
You will:
* Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
* Build, validate, and deploy machine learning models to solve real-world business problems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to define data needs and translate insights into actionable strategies
* Conduct A/B testing and experimental analysis to optimize product features and business processes.
* Visualize data effectively and present results in clear, compelling formats.
* Ensure data integrity, perform data cleaning, and improve data quality pipelines as needed.
Qualifications
You have:
* Master or PhD in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
* 2-4 years of experience working in a data science or advanced analytics role.
* Proficiency in Python or R, with hands-on experience using libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar.
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
* Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and experimental design.
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical results to non-technical audiences.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
* Experience working with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks)
